German Company DB Schenker Chooses Mercury for their Cargo Handling Needs at LAX

DB SchenkerDB Schenker has chosen Mercury Air Group to handle their air cargo needs at LAX. DB Schenker is a German-based air freight forwarder and one of the World’s largest. Starting on May 1, 2015, Mercury will be handling export cargo for the company, and has been handling their import cargo since mid-April.

This agreement represents a significant paradigm shift for the company, as most air freight loaders at LAX have their own warehouses and handle their own customers’ cargo. Under this new agreement, however, Mercury will be handling all of DB Schenker’s cargo needs at LAX. “I believe contracts like this one will be a new trend, fueled by the air freight forwarders’ need for minimal handling and greater efficiency in the entire international export and import process,” says Joe Czyzyk, Chairman and CEO of Mercury Air Group.

As more companies choose Mercury Air Cargo’s services at LAX, it’s a testament to the company’s reputation for reliable service and the dedication of its employees.
