Joshua Floistad Named Vice President of Operations of Mercury Air Cargo

JoshMercury Air Cargo is pleased to welcome Joshua Floistad as the company’s Vice President of Operations, started his position on April 8, 2019.

Joshua comes to Mercury Air Cargo with over 14 years of aviation experience. Most recently he worked at Cathay Pacific Airways. His most recent position in that company was Area Cargo Manager, overseeing Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver, and Anchorage where he had direct responsibility for operational, commercial, and financial oversight.  Previously he was based in Dallas, overseeing the South Central U.S., including DFW, IAH, and the surrounding offline territories. He brings demonstrated skills in operations management, account management, sales, accounts payable, commercial aviation, and budgetary containment.  Prior to Cathay Pacific Airways, Joshua was employed with TBI Airport management at Hartsfield International Airport overseeing operations, maintenance and security at the international terminal E and was responsible for area ramp control as well.

He looks forward to bringing this unique combination of skills and experience to Mercury Air Cargo.

Joshua lives in the Los Angeles area with his wife and two young children.
