Maytag Aircraft Corporation / TK&K Joint Venture Starts U.S. Army GOCO Fuel Contracts in Germany & Italy

(January 10, 2011): Mercury Air Group, Inc. announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Maytag Aircraft Corporation, and joint venture partner TK&K, have begun operating numerous government owned/contractor operated (GOCO) contracts to provide bulk fuel storage services at U.S. Army installations in Germany and Italy.

Locations in Germany include: Ansbach, Grafenwoehr, Hohenfels , Shweinfurt, Mannheim / Stutgart, Heidelberg, Baumholder and Weisbaden. Locations in Italy include Vicenza and Livorno. At each location, Maytag Aircraft/TK&K Joint Venture personnel are responsible for receiving and checking fuel shipments and maintaining the fuel storage facilities. In total, the joint venture team is responsible for millions of gallons of fuel storage for the U.S. Army in Germany and Italy.
