Continuing Growth for HPL-Apollo

Continuing Growth for HPL-Apollo

HPL-Apollo’s Chief Executive Officer Ivo Skorin is pleased to see that the company’s revenue grew over 25% year to date compared to the same time period in 2020. According to Skorin, the U.S. branches – Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Miami – are growing by double digits and business in Ecuador is “skyrocketing”.

“It is great to see how our strategy is materializing in great results, especially in the way we connected Ecuador with Miami and Los Angeles. This allowed us to control the whole flower supply chain – providing our customer an airport-to-door solution. Our facility in Miami was packed so we invested in additional 18,000 square feet of refrigerated space. Indeed, we are working on expanding even further in the next couple of months,” says Skorin.

Expansion will come by continuing to work in both North and Latin America.

Skorin acknowledges that with growth comes challenges. As HPL-Apollo grows, they are committed to provide the best service in the industry. Toward this commitment, they are working on several initiatives that will benefit customers and will also make the company more efficient. This is especially true in the field of digitalization. A couple of years ago, the company invested in the best software in the forwarding industry, Cargowise. That investment is paying off now, and Skorin is excited about the outcomes customers will get in the near future.

Skorin also sees that the company’s growth brings a lot of growth opportunities to the team.

“I am very proud to see how our staff face great opportunities for their professional careers. Most of our managers have been growing with the company and that is fantastic. As we continue to grow, we will continue generating opportunities for every person who has the passion required to make sure the perishables that we transport and handle get to consumers on time and in great condition.”
