HPL-Apollo’s New Branch in Ecuador

HPL-Apollo’s CEO Ivo Skorin is proud to announce that the company opened a branch in Ecuador on March 9, 2020. The branch is located in Quito and provides freight forwarder solutions for perishable products.

HPL-Apollo had been doing business in Ecuador for 10 years, according to Ivo, using third parties. Our new branch is wholly owned by HPL Apollo and provides logistics services including transportation for flowers from Ecuador to Los Angeles and Miami.

Ivo says in a LinkedIn article, “HPL Apollo has a dedicated team of seven staff based in Quito, all of whom bring many years’ of experience in the logistics including transportation of perishable cargoes, in particular flowers. The team is led and managed by General Manager Alfonso Maldonado.”  Alfonso reports directly to Ivo.

HPL-Apollo’s facilities in Miami and Los Angeles provide logistics services to other areas of the U.S. and worldwide, along with U.S. Customs Brokerage and cold storage.

“The branch in Ecuador allows us total control, to manage the entire perishable logistic chain from origin to destination, ensuring the flowers and other perishable cargoes entrusted to HPL Apollo arrive at their destinations worldwide in pristine condition,” writes Ivo.
