Mercury Air Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Robert Cook to the position of Safety Manager for Mercury Air Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries.  

Robert joined Mercury in 1995, serving as Warehouse Supervisor for the Cargo Handling Operation at LAX, and he most recently served as the Training and Compliance Coordinator.  Robert's vast wealth of experience in the cargo handling/warehousing industry will be very instrumental in Mercury's continuous efforts to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all its employees.

Robert will be responsible for ensuring safety compliance and standards are being followed, implementing directives, improving safety performance, and ensuring all facilities meet or exceed local, state and federal regulations.  This position will also direct the activities of the safety and training departments, facilitating the communication of all safety initiatives while promoting a safe and productive work culture.
